I use my truck to haul my busa to the drag strip and my dad is convinced he needs to race my truck. Im not sure which trans i have. the nv or the g56. It is a 6 speed. What short trow is better, the b&m or the bd? Thanks for any and all info.

 

your 04 has the nv5600. easy way to tell, look under the truck at the tranny, if it is rusty red, 5600, the g56's are aluminum. the 5600's are cast iron and unpainted and uncoated from DC.

 

If it is the 04 in your sig you got an NV5600.

I have never driven one with a short shifter but most of them I have seen on here (dtr) are runnin the BD.
