I am wanting to but an air intake, and I have a friend that has the afe and it is awesome. I love the way the turbo sounds. I was just wandering if anybody knows if the scotty air makes the turbo sound as loud as the afe does. This website is the first That i have even heard of the scotty air. I would apreciate any input on witch one is better.

Yes the Scotty does indeed give you more turbo noise, and better air flow. Obviously the two go hand in hand, and most performance air intake systems will increase the audible level

Does your buddy have the Stage I or the Stage II, it can make a little difference in turbo whistle so you need to know which one he has to make sure you get what you are expecting etc. The Stage I is a new air box, filter etc, the Stage II is a larger air box and a larger filter with a 6 inch intlet size and the roto molded mandrel intake tube from the filters 6 inch exit the the turbo's inlet. Give us a call if you have any questions etc and be sure to get the Pro Guard 7 so you keep dirt out of you engine too!

If you want the turbo sound and great air flow, the Scotty with Cool Blue hose will do the trick. The Cool hose replaces the stock air intake tube and eliminates the large plastic baffles in the middle of the hose.
