Scary Larry on '06?
 

Does anyone know how well Scary Larry works on the 06's? I'm trying it out.

Mine is an early '07 so it is probably the same thing as the '06. I love the power and with the Outlook I can change the settings on the fly with the flick of the switch.[laugh]

Do you mean the crazy larry? I have the scarry larry on mine and it works great.

Oops, I missed the "Scarry", mine is the "Crazy"[duhhh]

I thought scary larry was only good on an 05. I ran crazy larry it ran pretty good. egts seem to get pretty high

I'm good on crazy larry right now- egt's stay under control, I'm just debating bumping it up to scary larry. Is the big difference maxing out the timing?

Also, what additional mods are required to use scary?

I've also heard that scary was best on an 05, anyone tried it in their 06? :)

Scary larry works great on the 05 trucks and still works on the older and the newer trucks just not as well, this tune was custom made for an 05 truck.

Bingo... It still works better than crazy larry. The biggest gains are on the 05 autos.

From my understanding from the guy who made the tune and a few people that have the tune, it was created by bullydog for a custom tuned truck only to be used on that truck. That company that recieved the file via email saved it to their desktop and used it figure they could make a couple bucks by offering the tune for what ive heard $50 if you send it in to them to download and truthfully it could have been sent via email to the buyer to download they just didnt want anyone else to have it and made a killing off of doing so. Bullydog caught wind of what was going on and threatened to shut it all down or something and supposidly that companies computer suffered fire damage and all files were lost. lol i bet. Just heresay from one mouth to another just thought some people might want to here the story.

That's pretty much the story. I can just imagine what would happen if the program was released to the general pubilic...

Did they ever find somebody that still had the Scary Larry file after that fire and that can still load it on the Triple Dog? Just wonderin if the file is lost for good or is still available...

it won't work on your 07, but will on your 03. Check your PM's
