Sallyman removed EDGE chip and guess what?
I removed edge chip now that I have boost and EGT ISSPRO gauges. I was empty and floored it down highway. same thing I hit 1350 EGTS easily while flooring truck (empty). thats accelerating to. And my boost never goes over 30 psi with edge chip OFF.
Now with EDGE CHIP ON i can hit 40 psi boost and about 1450 egt easily accelerating empty. So I think my chip is good I think the esge just runs hot obviously and plus my truck is a 2004.5 and I think they run a lil hotter stock.

every EDGE i have installed on a dodge truck has run hot (including mine before I got a smarty). Every Dmax truck I have done does not run hot. Just the way it goes.
Wow....
Sallyman you finally took it off. Here is the deal. My truck bone stock would hit 1300 then defuel. With the Smarty it would peg 1500 like it was no ones business. Thats normal #'s I would say. Boost #'S ARE ON THE MARK, STOCK WILL PEG 32-33 THEN DIVE TO 28 FLAT. The box will let you over boost up to about 40#, but I would not recommend it.
Sounds to me like your truck is running well. Take it to the track and report back with #'s and we can really tell you whats up. My truck would react like 2 different trucks when compared between street and strip....
