I have a pile of about 7 or 8 cats, some mufflers, and stock exhaust pieces next to my shop! lol

 

Cat converters are a big theft item in this area. The other night the thevies hit a van rental business and stole (cut off) 23 cats. It appears that the material inside the cat brings 100 to 150 dollars. Per the local news Houston area.

 

Makes sense - catgut is used to stitch post-surgery incisions... we all know how expensive medical procedures have become!

 

Yeah, there is platinum in a cat if I remember correctly. I would imagine it would take a LOT of cat's to be worthwhile...

 

They hit a toyota dealership here a while back, and got the cats off of every Tundra on the lot. Tac

WOW I'd think about buying a 6.7 now... I bet your gas milage would jump like crazy!!! Someone with the kitty gone and some miles on your 6.7 truck let us KNOW what it's like now...

 

I mada a mistake and left the garage door open and mine got away.

 

You should have Mr. Bill giving a farewell "salute" atop the convertor whilst going over a steep bluff.
