Cat converters are a big theft item in this area. The other night the thevies hit a van rental business and stole (cut off) 23 cats. It appears that the material inside the cat brings 100 to 150 dollars. Per the local news Houston area.

Makes sense - catgut is used to stitch post-surgery incisions... we all know how expensive medical procedures have become!

Yeah, there is platinum in a cat if I remember correctly. I would imagine it would take a LOT of cat's to be worthwhile...

hey TAC got some picts I gotta send ya.... PM me your email. On topic I took just my cat guts to a local recycle center and got $75.00 bucks for em.... they said they never got them that way before but were glad to have em'
