I'm looking for a muffler that will give me a better sound than stock. I don't want a straight pipe because that's a little more incab noise and drone than I want. I bought this 04.5 used and the cat. has already been taken off. Someone told me about the Rokk Tech Muffler but I've never heard one. Could someone give me some ideas on this or any other muffler that might fit the bill. Thanks

they sure sound quite on the sound bites, but there are so many variables on how they recorded them and where the recorder was placed....

I'm happy with mine. Barely louder than stock during normal acceleration and freeway cruising, nice throaty roar when it's opened up. Mine was installed just after the cat. I haven't towed with it yet, so I don't know if it will drone under load uphill. It's a BIG can and a tighter squeeze to install, make sure your shop knows what they are doing..

 

You will love the rokktech growls while ideling and mellows out a tone when driving!! I loved mine..
