I think they run a stock CP3 that is geared to spin faster than normal by 30%. They might be doin that same trick to one of the new modded CP3s now too.

Relentless Diesels CP3

I think what you guys are talking about is what I will call Relentless' 1st version CP3 upgrade mod. What I've been hearing is that they, like PPE and ATS are all making CP3 upgrades that are actually made with two CP3s.
These versions are belt driven off the frt of the engine. The D-Max guys have had this for some time and it really makes them tick and I'm sure it would be similar for our trucks. The original version of Relentless' CP3 was/is a super idea but it is labor intensive to install. This new unit is not difficult to install.

I believe I read the other day that the PPE is around $4k so who knows where ATS or Relentless will be on theirs. I know ATS has one for the D-Max but they don't have the CTD version ready yet. I know Relentless had beta testing going on on theirs back in June, so they are probably nicely refined by now and I suspect that is the unit you will find on their 10sec truck.

I have not seen RC post anywhere in a while. Last time I talked with Chris at the track and ask about RC he said he was into other things right now and just driving the truck as daily driver. It is hunting season in Texas and that does take priority for some.

I am sure Michael will be happy to hear that! If I had the money I would have had him install them on mine.

I have ran out of money for the truck, so I will just drive it and see what happens next year.

I'm not going to overstep on Relentless' bounds here so I will only say that they had a 2nd CP3 on that truck at BG this summer, but it is a much different mounting setup than what PPE is going with.

Deer hunting should be our state sport. I shot one last weekend and am going back tommorrow for more!

kinda off topic here but i heard Chris is using "aeromotive" pumps on his trucks, not FASS or walbro's.....can anyone confirm this?

I can't confirm it, but I have ran the aeromotives and know of quite a few that currently are and have had real good luck with them. I only had one style that constantly failed. It was the little sreet rod series pump that looks similar to a Holley blue pump. Aeromotive offered to fix it under warranty, but I never got around to sending it back.

When RC layed down 818hp he had a stock CP3 with Chris's gear drive mod. Also a FASS 200 and RASP pump. I am pretty sure.

Rc

I'm pretty sure RC had a FASS 150 or 95 not the 200 and he wasn't running the RASP. I'm not sure about he Aeromotive pump but Chris has been know to run Carter pumps and I think there were two on that 10.99 truck if I remember right.

The day RC ran 818 on the dyno he was running the RASP. He took the time to chat with me about it while his truck was up on David Dunbar's dynojet. He also had a fass on the truck, but it wasn't being used at the time.

It has been awhile since I been online here, but I would like to clear up everyone questions.
1.The 10 sec. truck has 2 cp3's on it
2.My truck dynoed 818hp on a hyperdrive set up(stock pump spinning faster)
3.My truck has a fass 150 and a rasp belt drive on it.(I use the fass to push fuel to the rasp and the rasp sends high pressure fuel to the cp3.

I got real busy the past few months with my business, but I am currently in the process of getting the parts together for my next batch of mods,it will probably be december before I am done but I am shooting for the 950hp range.I am going to put 2 pumps on my truck.I will keep everyone posted as soon as I have some results.
