Rear helper bag vs helper springs
Looking to put helper bags or springs on the back of my lifted 05 my truck is a welding rig so it always has 2000+lbs of weight it's hauling I was looking at either the helwig helper spring kit or the airlift or Firestone helper bags what setup do you think you work the best in hauling the load and give the best ride ?

I installed Hellwig 61901 on the rear of my '06 2500. It helps handle the 1900# tongue weight of our 5th wheel and they are fully adjustable. It works for me. I have no experience with air bags

If you didn't have that weight in the rig all the time, I'd say the airbags are the way to go. But since you do, it's really preference at this point along with cost.
The air tends to provide a better ride, but the springs are more reliable long term. Although it is probably a "non-argument" since air bags are totally reliable and generally have a lifetime warranty... there is still that "possibility" of an air leak.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
I have the Carli long travel airbags. They are great with my on board air. Normally the bags are empty, but if I load the truck enough to make it squat a bit, all I need to do is hit the switches and level the truck in seconds.
