I have a 2005 Ram 3500 5.9 Cummins it’s throwing a code P2121 I’ve changed the APPS pushed the pedal slowly to the floor and released it up slowly reset the computer and within 10 miles it fell flat on its face and throwing the same code, any suggestions on what to try next?

Is yours mounted on the accel pedal? I have read that bad batteries can cause it, also a bad ecm. Mine threw that code and a couple others but never fell on its face. Mine was mounted under the battery tray on the driver side.I have read where one guy took the two big plugs loose that are on the fire wall left of the valve cover,and put electrical grease on them and put them back and it fixed his.

Yes mine is mounted on the Accel pedal, I was wondering if the batteries could be part of it.
