questions for pros

I have 2003 2500, its stock aside from a 4" mbrp turbo back exhaust.
i have been doing some research and that there is a " fuel plate" in the IP that can be adjusted, what i dont know is if this system is used on the third gen
another thing is that i have a turbo off an 05 or 06 5.9L from what i gather this is a good upgrade, what is the difference between mine and the 05-06.
thanks in advance, my apologies im sure this has been asked a million times, but my searching dosnt result in exactly what im looking for.

the turbo difference is the rear exaughst (im a bad speller) housing the 04.5 and up are bigger. the only other thing you will need is the downpipe. its made a little different and its also 4in not 3 and a half. hope this helps

The down pipe that attaches to the turbo on an 06 is 5 inches. Stock exhaust is necked down from 5 inches from the turbo to 4 inches out the back.

Incorrect...

First off, you don't "NEED" the bigger downpipe in order to put that turbo on your truck. It IS a big help and is recommended because your truck will breathe better but you can put that turbo right on and connect it to your stock turbo elbow. In order to run the larger downpipe you will also need a later model elbow which is 4" on both ends. I also had to back my mounting studs on my exhaust manifold out because there were not enough threads exposed to catch the nuts that hold the turbo on...

Stock 03 downpipe is 3.5" and stock 04.5+ downpipe is 4" from the back of the elbow all the way to the end where it connects to the exhaust pipe.

The fuel plate referrers to the P Pump, not the CP3, which is in your truck. You can do a DIY mod to the CP3 from a couple of companies for about 400 bucks.
