Question

In another forum I read something about turning your Ignition switch to where the dash lights cime on 3 times really fast. after doing this, your odometer will say done. Does anyone know what this does and why?

if you turn you ignition off-on-off-on- off-on and leave it there the trouble codes will show in the odometer window and then say done.
or if you hold the ODO reset button and turn the key to start the gauges will run a diagnostic (will move full sweep in increments and all lights in the dash will light) and will then show cluster related codes then Done.

All this applies to '03-05? trucks. it is different for the '06's and maybe the '05's

It reads your codes (if any) in certain years. I believe 2001 and up.

Fill out your signature so we know what truck you have.
