I have the quad rail pressure gauge and i am on my 4th warranty replacement,they tell me that is newer model. But each time it has went out the truck will start sounding like it is spark knocking or missing. Have read where can take out cp3 sensor. Have checked to make sure I have a good ground, do I take their word on new model or switch to Dpricol gauge.

There have been a couple threads about Quad rail pressure gauge issues. Use the search function and check those out.

 

my quad pressure gauge some how caused my pressure to spike to over 20,000psi which then would detune the truck and I would loose power.

I thought it was was Edge doing this but as soon as I removed the quad it worked fine, then I hooked the quad up with out the edge and the same thing happened.
It worked good for a few months anyways. Send it back and see what happens.

 

Just pitch it. My quad gauge is in a box in the basement. It was fixed 2x but at least I have learned my lesson on Quad stuff. It just sucks it cost me 150$ but hey, thats cheaper than trashing your fuel system which running maxed out RP will do to you.

DiPricol or Isspro are your only 2 choices.

 

I would check the weatherpack connectors, this is what i recieved.

 

SPA also makes a RP gauge.

 

How much is the SPA gauge? I seem to remember their stuff being pretty costly.

I think they are like $350ish.....but you actually get 2 gauges that actually work. I believe its RP and Oil Pressure. They are good people.

 

Yep..."You get what you pay for" as they say.

You can use the pressure sensor for anything you like (ie. boost, oil pressure, fuel pressure, drive pressure, etc).
