QUAD Race module...

i`m thinking of selling my predator to pick up a Quad Race module w/ commander...just wanted to know what guys think of this module & what i could expect to see as far as performance/economy ... also if it would be a better for the truck than the predator...Thanks.

from day 2 day i`m not sure if i need to pull my trailer for work & its a pain in the neck to constantly go from the tow tune to the perf tune... it makes GREAT power..but i "think" i want something i can change on the fly.

I would wait a couple of weeks for the Adrenaline, especially if you are going to be towing.

The towing protection features such as de-fueling, turbo timer etc are well worth it!

Pricing has been released and your dealer, any vendor on here or the DTR store themselves should be able to price it for you.

i dont think u will be happy switching from the pred to the race,i have both and the pred makes way more power and at a dif spot in the rpm range,i find the race to come on in the higher rpms and i dont use that range much,i do like the x2 available tunes but thier no were near as strong as the pred especially the rkl tunes for the pred on the site, they just plain workkkkk,i use the race as a pres only module and it works well and i like having both but if i had to choose i would take the pred,if u were close i would lend u the race for a weekend to try but were kinda far haha

I am with Qzilla on this. Wait for the Adrenaline it will have custom tuning so you can bring on the power where you you want it to come on it is a very nice setup. It has a ton a safety features.

Quad's stuff usually has a really nice power curve so you will probably be happy when you are towing. If you are going for all out power then I don't think a Quad Race box is gonna be able to compete. That Predator makes some awesome power. I haven't really researched the Adrenaline so I can't comment on that one but it sounds pretty cool......

DuallyDave... i wish u were closer as well.....

i just dont know what i want.....the pred. is awesome...makes great power, but i know i will never see the full potential of it...its questionable if i will ever put it on the extreme tune as i dont have any tranny mods.....so i was thinking i could find something that still makes great power...i`m just not sure what to do...... i aslo have a Stiker II pressure box & a Granatelli mileage Max (re-badged Quad box) sitting on the shelf as well....someone with more info. just get me going in the right direction....please

Research the Adrenaline, it is an all around great module w/ gauges and protection built in. It would also be a lot of fun stacked w/ your Predator.......although your tranny might not agree(these trannies are designed to get built up though).

I also have the Quad Race X2 and the 1st Race module, they both are awesome but I think you would rather have an X2 if you don't go for the Adrenaline.

Stack that pressure box with your downloader. That should make a nice combo right there....

do you mean the Striker II & my predator? i`ve thought about it....i guess i would use the stacker tunes on the predator and work my way up with the pressure box. The max pressure of the striker II is 25k psi on level 5 so i guess i would be ok keeping it on level 3 .....i dont have a RP gauge...? Thanks

ya with the goodies u have now u have many posibilities,i wouldnt get rid of anything, well maybe the maxmilage thingy,if u run the pred on a staker tune and use the striker as ur shift on the fly u should be good but as im sure u have read many times a egt gauge is ohhhhhhh so imprtant, running a programer or a module a egt is a must, and running both its a no brainer, and ive noticed the pred gets things hot,i thtink they use lots of duration to get power,ya if ur not even running extreme yet i wouldnt get rid of anything,u have lots of possibilities there

ok guys so here is my not such a good idea question.... if i stack them and i begin on level 3 on the Striker II is there any way on knowing that i need to back it down a level without having gauges..... i know i need to get the gauges i just keep holding out 4 some in the classifieds but i`m always 2 views to late. The guy i bought the striker from told me that on level 5 the rail pressure was 24-25 k psi all day long ( he ran guages ) so w/ that info i "should" be ok on level 2/3? Man am i asking 4 trouble..lol..... I NEED GAUGES>>>
