Happend to me quite a few times with my quad. It was a bad wiring harness.. Truck would run fine then fall on it's face. Call Jeremy @ quad and they will hook you up!!

Just based on this explanation I am guessing there was something wrong with the connection. Basically if one of the connectors was not seated well it will easily cause problems. It looks as if it might have worked properly once you stopped and checked stuff. Now you said checking but, I am assuming you pushed and messed with the connectors to make sure everything was good.

If this is the case it is perfectly fine to drive it. If the problem is gone the light will go out on its own if you do not have a way to clear it manually. Usually a day or two of driving and it will go out depending on how much you are in and out of your truck.

Now to know if it is fine you are going to have to drive it. If this keeps happening make certain you have the plugs in correctly on the rail. SOmetimes you can get one of them backwards and it can cause all sorts of problems. If it drives fine and the issue itself disappears then all is good. the light is not going to go out immediately.

A little bit of dielectric grease on each individual blade is ok...too much not so good. Lube the male part and the female part will get lubed from the male part, no need to lube the female part....of the connector. ks
