Go to the local hardware store and get you a plumbing needle valve and splice it in line to your waste gate. That is what i have and it works great. $5.00 and your done with it.

For your boost issue.... Get you a needle valve and splice into your wastegate hose, that will allow you to fine tune your boost on a stock turbo on the 305/555 motor. The hose is right below the inlet on the turbo, 5/16 i think. If you have a boost gauge you can close the needle valve and test to find your max boost then adjust the needle valve to allow the wastegate to open where you want it to, or at least try. As for your fuel ??? you should be fine with stock fuel system but i would look into a fass in the near future.

 

the boost gauge i have is on the outlook monitor. i understand closing the needle, but how do i know where to set it? confusion is setting in...i was on here all night instead of sleepin

 

He is basically telling you how to modify your wastegate or disable your wastegate. This is important if you want more boost. You can even just block the wastegate line off if you want.

Now the problem is that if you do this you will get a CEL that is why you need the boost fooler on the 555 trucks.
