I am attaching a TST manual that shows how to modify the turbo so you can adjust the boost manually using a boost source.

You will need the boost bolt that goes on the intake.. Genos Garage has them and most likely has the tubing you need also.
Small brass elbow that goes at the turbo end, I am not sure if Genos has? I got mine with my TST many years ago. I have heard others get them, of all places on eBay...

Good Luck.. It is a decent turbo and I would think you can get 400hp safely..
I ran mine at 38lbs of boost (399hp/830tq)using TST for a couple of years without any trouble before I upgraded to the Silver 62.

Here is a source for an adjustable elbow. You can drill & tap the compressor housing & screw this in.

If it will work use it? I was more thinking that you will need a boost source.

Where does your current turbo get it boost source from? On the existing turbo that you would be removing?

You can drill and tap the compressor housing for 1/8" NPT (close to the outlet allows you to make sure the hole get's deburred) and screw the 03-04 boost elbow in to get your boost reference. If the electronic solenoid is still in the 04.5 and up turbo you can either weld the outlet closed or drill and tap it to plug it off.
