Programmer Rookie Questions

First, let me say I am a rookie to say the least when it comes to programmers, boxes, etc.

I am trying to find out what dictates what boxes you can stack? Can you stack a smarty with anything? Quadzilla and edge? I think I am missing something, somewhere. When you do stack 2 modules, what is the function of each?

I am looking into a Smarty JR b/c I would like some MPG as a little bonus, but the main reason is I want to run a little bit taller tires, maybe 33" or 35".

Does the smarty adjust the odometer and speedometer on the dash, or just on a seperate monitor?

Thanks guys! This forum is a wealth of information. If I ever have a question, I just search for a half hour and I have more info than I ever need!

Programmer(Smarty,Bullydog)=plug in,download(flash) into trucks computer,then unplug
Box(Edge,Quadzilla)=plug in under hood and always need to be plugged in to add power.

You stack a Box with Programmer. People stack because sometimes their current box or programmer does not add something that they want like pressure, so they buy a "pressure box" like and MP8. The average person does not need to stack products.
You can stack a Smarty with a MP8,
When you program your truck for larger tires you speedo is correct.

Clear as mud?
