For those of you have changed your exhaust from cat back to turbo back, have you had problems with emissions?

I live in Utah. I just switched from the stock exhaust to cat back 5" MBRP.
To be honest, I can't tell a difference. I don't have a chip yet. I can maybe hear a little difference.

Little worried about having to deal with emissions every year if I go with Turbo back.

 

How do they test emissions down there? If its a plug into OBDII, then you should be fine and everything should be kosher sans a CEL. If they do a sniffer, you're probably gonna have trouble I would imagine.

 

Ive seen chipped powerstrokes that smoke like heck with strait exhaust pass right on through the inspection station....even with the chip ON.
