My truck is an 04.5 2500 6 six speed quad cab, have had no problems with the truck till today. I have ran the BDPP on the extreme setting for over a year with no problems. The truck has a 5" exhaust and gauges other than that its stock. Today at a stoplight the truck just died and didn't want to start up again. After cranking over along time it fired up and then died again. Once again i tried starting it and it cranked over along time and then started, this time i was able to keep it running with some throttle. I drove the rest of the way home and it seemed to run alright. What would cause this to happen. Its never done this before.

 

Lift pump???

 

any codes? does your truck have an in-tank lift pump or the external unit?

 

checked the codes and got P063, P0602, P0628

 

P0602 Control Module Programming Error/NotProgrammed
P0630 VIN Not Programmed in PCM
P0628 Fuel Pump Relay Circuit Low, or Fuel Lift

Lift pump! 628 is the lift pump for sure, the others sounds like something weird with the Bullydog. Give Bullydog a call tommorrow for tech support.

get that factory l/p off of there. mine did the same thing. died, didnt want to start, would run ok, but not at idle. put on the bd l/p kit, all was better.
