Just added diablo stack and auto meter gauges, I was curious what normal readings for trans temp and egt's are?

2004 3500 4" silverline, diablo stack, autometer gauges.

 

trans temps should be between 160F and 180F. Depending on where you live and how much stop and go you do... it can get up to 200F

You don't want to see anything over 1350F on the EGT's. Normal driving at 55 to 60 it will be around 700F to 900F maybe lower. At WOT you may see over 1350F which is ok but, only for very short bursts.

 

I just put a westach egt/boost gauge in, still stock goods are in the mail, my egts run are around 500 but go up to 1000 if i get on it hard
