No more bottoming out on the '06
Well, I can now recommend the Timbrens for the bottoming out problem on the '06's. It's a shame we have to do anything, but I got tired of everyone who rides with me asking if my truck just bottomed out when I go over bumps . . . .
. I went with the Timbrens instead of new shocks because 1) my shocks are new (although, obviously not very good), and 2) I'll be carrying (at times) an extra 100-300 lbs up front.
They were a quick an easy install

Yep, had mine on on the fourth day of owning it. Front and back. Huge difference over OEM. Now, I want to replace the shocks to compliment.

I just traded my MC for a QC DRW. I need the 8ft bed and I don't like the look of Longbed SRW's. That is the first thing I noticed. My truck rides like a truck again. It isn't close to bottoming out over the same bumps my MC would hit the stops. After the fact, I swear the MC's have softer springs than the all other models. I know I traded a 2500 for a 3500 but it is truly a night and day difference.

Same part numbers for the '07's as well if anyone was wondering.

. Here is a pic of the one of the front Timberins. They are supposed to rest on the axle.
