Anyone else running a triple dog with the TQ mangement disabled and truck wont go into 4x4 low lock? Mine wont. Mine has the electronic t-case and it will shift into 4hi but not 4low? Wes

 

I know this is probably a stupid question, but are you in neutral when you try to shift?

 

ive was in everything, neutral, park, drive, reverse and everything between, deprogrammed it and went straight in with truck in park? Thats all i can think of it being? Wes

 

If the BDDL disabled the TM by design wouldn't that be a big problem with pullers? I know nothing about competitive pulling, but I assume they use 4-low and some run BDDL's. Maybe it's a built in safety feature because they found the higher power levels would destroy stock drivetrain on pavement in 4-low?

Anyone with an electronic T-case ever try engaging 4-low while running a Smarty Wild program???

 

I have torque management disabled with my Bullydog. I'll try 4 low today.

 

thats why i stick with the manual t-case, I CHOOSE, not the computer!!

 

do you have a push button type engagement? i didnt even know dodge used such a thing, lol shows what i know.

I always prefer a manual gear shifter too, but to-date this one has worked flawlessly...I probably should not be bragging about that though ...oh well, I can always just knock on my faux wood dash!

You cant if you have leather, but my truck is a SLT, and the only thing missing from being a fully loaded laramie is leather. I hate leather, and I hate electronic t-cases so it worked out for me!

Well i just got back and mine goes in just fine. I think i would unload and reload it again might be something little.

 

I know mine doesnt show the light for tow hual or OD off, and i get a airbag light, an abs light, and a e-brake light constantly. Although i have a manual t case so mine works fine.

Sounds like you need a reflash. My buddies did the same thing so we hook it up reloaded new softwear works great now.
