Right now we don't.

This app WILL work with just an iTouch though, so you don't have to use the iPhone. You can get an iTouch and use it as a display as they are pretty reasonably priced and don't require any contracts or anything.

It is possible but, I am not sure yet. The problem is that the hardware is pretty expensive to run this and all the wireless stuff so I just don' think it would be cost effective to try and make a stand alone gauge out of it.

It is on the drawing board but, we will certainly get it out for the Adrenaline first.

There will be an Adrenaline/iQuad part number and then yes, the app will link right up. If you don't have an Adrenaline right now wait until the actual part# is available. If you buy one now you will have to buy the wifi module to go with it when they are released.



Also just an update, we now have the app working so that once downloaded you can select the specific vehicle you are using. This is a big step as it downloads the vehicle data off of one of our servers! Its not done but, its working which means full blown beta testing is in the very near future!

 

Let me know Quad if it goes to stand alone if possible. My Commander is perfect but that iQuad is something else!!!

 

iPad?

 

The bigger question is can we build the necessary hardware for an amount that is reasonable for gauges only. I am not sure what that limit is but, I would say it has to be $500ish or less?

iPad is probably going to happen. 4gs probably first though.

I have it running on an iPad now, the graphics are not perfect so we will see what it takes to get it all done right when this gets released.

 

Keep us posted, the Ipad rocks and this is a large part of the excuse to buy it.

What's with the "I-stuff"? What's an I-Phone have to do with gauges, this is a blue tooth hands free deal or?
