I talk to them recently and they told me about it. If it's as good as they say it will be a pretty nice setup.

member HeberRam has one in his truck right now...ask him what he thinks about it (I think he is beta testing it so he may be sworn to secretsea SP?)
I would like to hear some info on it too please today is the first time I have heard of it. 600*more then any other turbo is a lot of heat???
wouldn't you piston's be melted at that point anyway???

Yeah probobly but it's nice to know that your turbo is still intact
it's going to hold up to 2100 degrees.

Sounds like ss is Stainless Steel since this matches with the melting point....I would think that the bearings are SS also. The pistons are exposed to heat only during their firing order combustion then they are cooled twice with oil then fired up again. The turbo is heat soaked pretty quick and stays hot. The high pressure oil flow just cools and lubricates the bearings. The hotter the turbo the hotter the return oil will be getting before it drops to the pan for recirculation. ks

When I talked to em in late Dec, or early Jan I was told 2 weeks or so. Finaly I got tired of waitin. I am interested in how they perform but I dont know that I will ever have one. FWIW I was told they would cost 125-150 more than the standard 71 but who knows, that was almost 3 month ago so I am sure a lot has changed.

I think that the main reason that they are going to a Stainless Steel housing is because SS holds heat better. Less heat dissipation in the exhaust housing means that the exhaust gases will flow better keeping the turbo spooled better. Just my $.02
