Need help removed south bend dd from a G56
I took a DD clutch out of an 05 with the G56 and put the stock clutch back in now with the trans in gear with clutch pedal pressed in it does not release the clutch when trying to start it leaps forward. What should I look for. Thanks

This may be way off, but was the washer removed from behind the pivot ball when the DD was installed?
If it was and was not replaced, maybe there is not enough movement forward to completely release the clutch.

I am gonna have to think a while on this one, I would recomend callin southbend and see what they say.
Just to make sure of the order, I think it goes, crank, then the spacer, then the "flexplate thingy" then the flywheel, then the pressure plate. I think that is the order.
I have my stock G56 clutch sittin at my house. If you need me to look over it for anything let me know.

not sure if it would cause these symptoms, but the stocker is a self adjusting clutch and has to be reset when you reinstall it. The procedure is in the manual. Did you follow it?

Is the throwout bearing that comes with a SBC DD different thats the only thing that I didnt switch I thought they were the same, there was a thin spacer but it didnt fit on the front of the crank.
