Need Help!

I recently bought a Bully Dog Gt Tuner. And i wanted to put it on my truck. It had been on another truck and i wanted to put it on mine. How do i reset it to the factory settings to apply it to my truck? Can i reset the vin number? The Truck also turns over now but wont start. It shows my fuel light on. What can I do? If anyone could give me some advice that would be great. PM or call (1-219-898-6058)

If it is anything like the Smarty it locks on to the truck VIN that it was originally on. So then what you would have to do is put it back into the original truck, set that truck back to stock then take it out and install in your truck where it locks on to your VIN#. Then away you go. If that doesn't work then phone the manufacturer.

it needs to be returned to stock on whatever truck it came off of.

or you can send it in and we can reset it for $100

Jason,
So if he can get it back to stock from the orginal truck, how would SteelGrunt get his original ECM program back into his truck so it would run again?

Thanks,
Joe

Why would SteelGrunt's truck not start then when the Tuner was removed?

umm. what year dodge do you have? did the tuner get hung up at all during the download? interrupted during the download?

the BAD news i have is that i dont have the tools here at home to help recover the truck.

gonna have to call up tech support at 1-866-285-5936 first thing monday morning and get with the techs to recover the truck

Well i went to install download and went into that and started downloading. Got through that and it said the tuner needed to be set to stock and i clicked on that and it stopped at 50%. That was it.
