I seen an oil drip on my new truck today. I traced it back to a rubber hose on the passenger side that connects 2 steel pipes. This hose sits next to the turbo. I am assuming that this is the turbo oil cooler line.

I tightened the clamps and hopefully this stops the leak. Only 500 miles on the truck.

1 - Why do they install a rubber hose between 2 steel lines if it is HIGH pressure?

2 - Anyone else have this problem?

3 - Is that hose/steel line the turbo oil cooler line?

 

THats what warrantys are for The first day i had my truck it blew a radiator hose it took them 2 hours to put a new clamp on go figure
