Thumbs up My "Review" of a Cheap 5" Exhaust!!

ok guys...i bought the 5" turbo back from shop diesel delivered to my door for $310. this is a straight thru system. i got it from ups today around 2:10. after looking it over, i decided to have some professionals install it and boy am i glad i did.

I called around and got prices ranging from 90-400 for the install...i obviously went with the 90. got there and they had my old 4" off in about 10 mins. im sending it to another member on here with factory 3.5"

well they tried to put the down pipe in and it wouldnt fit, so they had to cut it short to get it to clear the cross member. once that minor issue was figured out, the rest of the install went smooth. im very glad i spent $97 to have them put it on and on the way home i had a constant smile.

the sound is awesome. with the windows up and a/c on 2, it really isnt very loud at 70..about the same as a muffler delete on the stock system. i went under an overpass and tried to make a homeless guys ears bleed, but i wanst able to stick around and see if i was successful!!!

all in all for the money this is a top notch kit. buy it and if you dont have alot of time or a large chop saw take it to the professionals...i also had all the joints welded instead of using the clamps.

i have to go or i would write some more...i probably will anyways when i get back from running an errand later

Thats the same system I have too and well worth the $. I thought about welding mine up but I am scared that swaping turbos or doin twins that the welded pipe may make some problems that I dont need.

I went with the MBRP 5" cat back. the cat is "clean" and like you said it sounds GREAT!but when puling a big load it does get louder!.

down around 1200 RPM it will make your SMILE!!!!!!at 2k its just a little loud.
cost?...$367.00...and its only cat back.

It took me about 30 min to pull of old and install new pipe. the thing was I had to bend the mount on the back to get my 19.5 265 tire back under the truck!

have you pulled with it yet?????????????????
