So I have some decent supporting mods and am hoping to hit 500hp. What should I add on to reach that 500hp mark? I do a lot of towing and would like less smoke.

 

a sps or htt 62 and an arson kit..

 

What tune are you using on the smarty?

I hit 536 on stock sticks and CP3... using an edge and MP8.

More air and fuel will do it.

 

Agree with this mainly because that's what i have....havent dyno'd mine, but would speculate i'm right at 500ish hp....plan on adding some 50hp stix to get me to my end game of 550hp.

 

HTT 62/65/13ss would be a real nice touch.

 

i hit 522 hp 1085 tq a month ago with stock turbo, stock sticks, stock cp3 should be fairly easily. Add a adjustable wastegate elbow/boost fooler to your turbo turn up the smarty and you should be there as well. 2 pennies

 

I've been hearing a lot about this "setup". Where would i find something like this? I'm looking for "bigger" upgrades as well.

 

thanks for the info. I have really been thinking about the 62/65/13ss or the 62/71/13ss. I tow really heavy sometimes, like over 20,000 lbs. would the 65 be ok?

 

Would think the 65 would be preferred for towing heavy, but not sure with a manual trans like yours...
