Which muffler should I go with?

I've had my truck straight piped for a while now and love the sound but the drone is way to bad while towing the horse trailer. What reasonably priced muffler do you guys recomend that will give it a deep sound with out the drone?
Thanks Andrew

I went with the MBRP muffler kit which came with the offset pipe...All for under $200. Nice sound and no drone.

Does the 51" muffler replace the cat and the existing muffler? do you have to get any additional pipe to install it on the mega cab?

Can be picked up cheap at your local neighborhood Cummins shop.

If you go with the 42" offset muffler will that be enough to delete the cat and muffler or will you need more offset?

Dang near... That sucker is a monster... It's hands down imo the best free flowing muffler out there... I love it!!! If you want I can go measure mine tomorrow to get you a flange to flange measurement.

I don't think so... seems like the muffler and cat is a good chunk of piping anyways.. atleast on a mega it is...

The Donaldson 51 sounds awesome. I really would like to run it but live in Phoenix and think I may need to keep the kitty. I took a few measurements today and am not sure how I or a shop can do this? It is possible to cut about 6" of pipe in front of the cat move it foreward and put the 51" right behind it and custom bend a short piece over the axel. Muffler delete pipe is too long. Or do I need to forget about the 51" and find something else. Please help I have been thinking about this way too much for weeks now and have not figured it out.

well I can post the measurements tomorrow it's too dag cold to go out tonight.. LOL.. But on my 05 I had a rokkteck and my cat and put this muffler on three other trucks and it is if not as long as the donaldson or longer! and it was a quad cab shortbed... You cut the tail pipe about four inches before the bend...lol so I am pretty sure it is very doable with the cat and donaldson...
