More power out of my 05' HELP
 

I've been searching for a box or a programmer to install on my 05 4x4 dually and I am having trouble deciding which one to go with. I tow around 6k everyday and I just want a little more usable power. I need to know if there is a box or list of boxes that puts the least amount of stress on the injection system, as longevity is a concern for me. I also want one that does not raise egt's to quick although I will be installing a guage. So far I am leaning towards the bully dog power pup downloader or the ts mp-8. Can you guys tell me if I am going in the right direction or if these are wrong for my application? thanks, brad

i think the bullydog power pup on the tow setting would be a great choice, it is not supposed to raise the fuel pressure very much. I am wanting to get one myself.

I think I would go with an edge ez for mild power & not have to worry about tranny problems. Also saw this over on tdr about the other box you mentioned.

EZ by far!The tow mode on the BDDL is not as good as the EZ.The EZ has 3 settings that you can adjust on the fly.

My vote goes to the Quadzilla XZT tow box. Simple, very effective and inexpensive.

The dealer I bought truck through sold me a TST. Had a small boost issue corrected the problem and I am very happy so far. No smoke and better mileage.

I don't think Van Aaken has a box out for 05's.
