That is a very personal thing for which there is no standard right answer.
The best generic answer is to use quality products that give you peace of mind. For some that is synthetic fluids in everything.
For starters, any of the major oils made for diesel will serve you well,
Rotella, Delo, Delvac, Valvoline and etc.
If you prefer synthetic, Amsoil, Valvoline, Royal Purple, Redline and my favorite, Schaffer's come to mind.
oil filters-- fleetguard stratopore and its Donaldson equivalent are as good as you'll get.
Tranny-- the Mopar ATF+4 is synthetic. Any branded ATF+4 is similarly spec'd and up to the task. RP and amsoil is also good stuff.
I don't believe your year of truck has any grease zerks, but I could be wrong.
The differentials should use synthetic. Use the recommended weight. Some like the 95; some like the 140 that tow heavy in the heat. For Michigan, I'd stick to the 95.
For more information than you will really want on lube and oil--
go the bobstheoilguy dot com website.
That is a start, hope it helps.
