Mag hytec dd pan, what fluid to use?

I just purchased a mag hytec dd pan for my 06 ram. i am ready to install it but want to know how much and what brand of tranny fluid I should use. Thanks, John

Mopar atf +4 or compatible fluid. If I recall correctly I used 9 quarts.

well, if you completely flush the system like I did when I installed mine.... it'll take 17 to 18 qts.

as for brand.... just use a good +4 type

- It took 9 quarts unless you drop the tranny and remove the fluid out of the torque converter . I got the mopar atf +4...

as I said, I flushed the system which includes the TC using a tranny flush machine. it took 17.5qts.
