I've listened to a few sound clips of the Aeroturbine and I'm not sure it sounds that much different from my setup when I had the Magnaflow muffler installed. What is the loudest muffler that you guys know of? I really like the sound of my straight pipe setup, but its just a tad too loud.

Anyone have experience with the Dynomax Bullet Muffler?

 

Are you looking for noise or performance? My Magnaflow is a straight through design that gives a great mello sound.

 

My summet racing "glass pack" is pretty loud.Not much differemt than straight piped.

 

Loudest muffler??? Sounds like an oxymoron.

 

I just put one of those Dynomax mufflers on my truck...It's a straight through muffler, but really made a BIG difference in sound. Too quiet for my liking, the wife really likes it though...I hope it blows out soon!!!!

Was the Dynomax muffler you put on the Race Bullet? They have a 4" one that is 16.5" overall in length with the muffler part being 12" in length.

 

yup that's the one....I got mine from Summit for something like $40.00

 

Do you know what the sound difference is between that Race Bullet muffler is and a straight piped setup on a HO Cummins? I originally had the Magnaflow muffler on my truck before the straight pipe and the muffler was really quiet. The inside of the Magnaflow muffler, which was also a straight through design, had perforations. What did the inside of the Race Bullet look like?

 

The bullet muffler is by far one of the loudest mufflers you can get next to a glass pack.
