I'm lookin for a muffler that has the most sound but cuts the drone.
A lot of the mufflers I have heard are very quiet. So has expierience with a low restriction muffler that is loud outside the truck but the drone is down from a standard 5" Tb to 6" stacks

You can't get much louder than these. Dynomax Race Bullet Mufflers. With a case only 16" long I'm sure these are loud. Don't know about the drone though. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
You could also try a resonator instead of a muffler. Berubes carries them. http://www.berubes.com/40.html
Bottom right of the page. These will cut the drone.

 

Have you consider a diesel resonator without using muffler? Supposed to cut out the drone without changing Db's at the tail pipe much.

I guess what I need is a resonater. Wish I had a sound clip. Anyone know much about them? That be rubes web page looks interesting just wish there were more facts to support it.

My Silverline is pretty loud. It's nice and deep and no drone whatsoever.

 

I think that Magnaflow has sound clips on their website if I remember right.
Mine is quite loud, but does have a little drone under some conditions.
