Do a search on "****** Whistler" for a do-it-yourself intake. I used to have the AFE Stage 2 intake and many agree that it's one of the louder intakes. If you REALLY want it to whistle...get some twins!

It seems like our 3rd gen trucks don't get that whistle out of the exhaust like other trucks I've heard, like the 6.0 Ferds...those things sound like a jet with a straight exhaust. Most of the whistle sound you hear out of our 3rd gen trucks come from underneath the hood and it's actually the sucking sound from the turbo(s). Get rid of the silencer ring and get as free flowing of an intake as you can and that will produce a louder whistle.

The fords have a loud turbo whistle because they have a variable geometry turbo.

Put a turbo with a 71mm exhaust turbine in it and you will hear it out of the exhaust.

Oh yea!!! High Tech Turbo all the way, now I have dual whistles, from the intake and the exhaust.

You can hear them both whistle in the vid. This is also posted in levigarretts thread on exhaust clips.

Well I use a cheap ol mop and a bucket of water and simple green, the rest gives me a black winter effect, scatters all over the bed and bedrails.
