I am wanting to upgrade my bully dog power pup wit the crazy Larry download. Bully dog says its not avaliable right now, so i was wandering if anyone knew how i could go about getting the software or program for it. and for those of you who are running it how do u like it and hows the power gain?

I have 85,000 miles on my truck... i ran the Bully Dog Extreme setting on my truck from 4k miles till 25k miles then i switched to Crazy Larry... been running crazy larry from 25k until now... i have been very happy with it... no issues at all.. except spitting out 2 factory transmission and one fully built trans...
For what its worth.... i have swapped programmers with my buddy a few times and i have messed around with his Smart TNT-R to compare... Crazy Larry vs the standard SW9.. Crazy Larry feels just alittle faster, but i feel that my truck runs smoother and "tighter" when running the smarty SW9
... just my two cents... and i have no idea how it relates to your 2003 truck compared to my 2006

Absolutely love it on my 05. Daily driving w/ it, no issues. Road speed roll on's, WOT runs up steep on ramps will net high EGT spikes (well over 1600)(probe mounted between 5 & 6). Tends to be a little smokey at times. Like anything else, if you "drive it like you stole it" regularly...don't come back on here crying about your broken whatever.

 

what tune is the crazy larry? is it the 2.4D or is scarry larry the same? thanks

 

The Crazy Larry I'm running is a older version. I'll try to remember to take a look when I get home in a week or so. 2.4D, Scarry have "tune" differences.
From what I understand, all the "Larry" tunes (Crazy, Scarry, Senator, Pedofile and can't remember rest ) do basically the same thing, put a big smile on you . Differences are when/ where in rpm range & throttle position they come alive as well as if/ when/ where timing is changed.
Rumor has it the older version Crazy Larry's seem to have better street manners.
I have been VERY pleased w/ mine , I don't plan on updating.
