Took the truck on a trip this past week to the mountains. Round trip was about 1700 miles with the cruise set at 70. Got back today and nailed it at a light an it blew black smoke everywhere. Usually just a little puff and its clear. I have noticed this before after the truck is babied around when I do step on it it smokes pretty good. Why is that? The quad was set on MPG the whole time..

 

The truck is just cleaning out some built up soot. No big deal

 

Yep, they need to get worked to clean out the exhaust system every now and then.

 

Agreed, probably soot all through the exhaust system.
