Leer 100XQ owners... HELP!

My Leer 100XQ cap came in today and they set it on the truck and it doesn't fit right. The edges don't line up on the bed rail. It seems to be bowed in about 3/4" on each side (you can see the stake pocket!). What I need are pictures of the cap down the side of the truck showing the lip of the cap in relationship to the bed rail. I'm using this just in case Leer tries to tell me it's "normal". Please help! Thanks in advance.

It is not normal at all. If it is tightened down and all and the pressed the sides out when they tightened it up then there is definitely fit problems. Leer is awesome when it comes to warranty. If you have concerns all you have to do is get on the phone with them or tell you dealer to do so. They are great with customer service. I hope you get it figured out. What dealer are you using?

I'm using a local dealer. There aren't any problems yet. I'm just trying to cover my bases just in case. The dealer agrees with me that the cap isn't fitting right. I'm going back on Tuesday for a re-fit when it's warmer, but I doubt the weather has that much to do with it.

Patience, you'll see. I'll post pics when I get my intake and exhaust parts with it. I'm also going to take video so everyone can hear it. Hopefully next week.

I just got a XQ a few weeks ago...so far no problems. I love it. It sounds to me like your dealer might have not layed it in correctly ??? Keep us posted. I am sure LEER will be helpful if there is a true problem.

Do you have any pics?

I bought mine 2 years ago, it fit perfectly, and I havent had any problems with it.

Here is mine. I've owned 2 of these shells and they are of impecable quality. Sounds like they ordered the wrong one, but that shell is exclusive to our trucks so I don't see how they ordered the wrong one. That is definitly not right.

That's perfect. Thanks Dieselhed. Mine didn't look anything like that.

Dieselhed, when did you get your topper? They're asking about the year now.
