Knockin', Smokin' & Smellin'

I think this is going to be a bad year. I just spent $3500 on a tranny and clutch. I got it all back together and now this. I let it idle about 45 minutes last night to let everything get warmed up and pick up tools. I drove it about a mile everything looked good. Now this morning I got it warmed up again and left to take my daughter to school. I made it about 1/2 a mile and the truck started knockin'; I made it back home and removed the oil fill cap andd there's white smoke coming out of it like a locomotive and there's smoke coming out of the pipe that I would call the by-pass tube. It's the one that oil starts to come out of when you start to get wear on the engine. There's also a strong smell of burnt oil as well. I just changed the oil the same time I did the tranny. Any ideas what the problem is?

Not really. It honestly sounds like it maybe be in the lower end or maybe half way down or something.

No, nothing obvious. Unless it's going to be hard to hear.

Cool. I have been wondering how those came out. I have to admit I have never rebuilt any 6.7 injectors until those.
