Just installed Goerend torque converter
I just finished installing a built torque converter I ordered from Dave Goerend. I did the install in my garage with my brother. It wasn't hard, but it did take 9 hours. Anyway, I took it out for a quick drive and this is what I noticed... When idling in gear, the truck wants to go- much more than it used to. The shifts are firmer, but not harsh. The truck doesn't redline in 1st or 2nd gear like it used to- it just shifts. I can notice a little more power on the low end- tranny isn't slipping like it used to. Overall, there is a noticeable difference. Not drastic, but definitely noticeable.

Nice to feel the rpm's drop between shifts, isn't it !!
Did the same thing last year, just the TC from Dave.
It's been holding up fine to the 100hp Quad (granted, I don't tow)
$800 or 850 (can't remember exactly)+s&h for the single disc.
Best mod, hands down
