just installed Air Dog 150

I installed the Air Dog Yesterday, finished about 1:00 in the morning. I ended up running 2 draw straws in the canister, both cut short, pickup had a length of Ether hose ran down to the bottom. I was a little concerned about that stuff collapsing under suction but I know it works for 53 ******.

Test drove it, i have a good 15 psi, BUT, I can get it down to 5psi when running it hard.

ALSO, I had some caivitating problems it seemd like. I hope it just working out a little extra air in the line but when I got back from my second test run the pressure was varying from 15 to 10 and then dropped to 0 when I put er in park, kept running though. I started it up again and back up to 15. I am a little nervous about making a 120mile trip back to Columbus but I dont have a choice, I gotta work on Monday... Any thoughts on the pressure readings???

I can update more when I get back to Columbus.

did you cut a "v" in the bottom of the ether hose??
did you ziptie the pick up straw so it wont move/pinch closed when you compress the canister??
did you make sure the ether hose rested on the bottom of the canister?? even will compressed in place??

Mechanical gauge, isolator and snubber, reads a solid 15 this morning but I havent really driven it yet just moved it around a little.

The Ether hose is secured in the canister. It is hard to explain what I did because the canister is so much different than all the pictures on here but even if I took pictures of what I was doing you would never see what I actually did inside because the canister is almost completely enclosed. "PITA" to get appart too. The Hose IS secured in the can, and I checked it when I installed it to make sure it would not kink when compressed.

Would the Ether hose collapse??
I would assume that the AD sucks the same amount constantly and not more under load right?? So if it would collapse it would do it at any time and not necesarily at WOT?

I am about to take the 120mile road trip soon so hopefully you all hear back ...

I just want to get an idea of possible causes so I know what I might be up against, it is my daily driver.

So did you have to drop the tank to do this?

I was thinking you didn't have to?

When I hooked up the fuel pressure gauge on my 01 I remember it reading funny at first and actually killed the truck at one point.

I did drop the tank. with the tool box, stacks, and air system in the bed it was easier for me. I will be cutting in an access panel in the bed above the pickup because right now I am going to have to open it up again.
I had to hook the stock system back up, something is definatley NOT right.
I get great pressure at first, 15, after a few miles it starts fluctuating and then eventually drops to 0. I pulled over and tightened up the fittings on the CP3 because there was fuel all over. Better, but again only for a few miles. then pulled over again and hooked up the stock banjo and plugged in the stock lp.
Looks like am going to have to get another straw and try this again.
