DM, sometimes people get busy or just forget to get back to you. I've been ignored more times than I wish to mention. Don't take it personal. We're all just here to learn alittle...

Nothing personal with me. I really dont care to get ignored either... just one of those times when I decided to post an observation. Shoot, I am just a dumb hillbilly anyway so never mind what I say

Oh yea, Now I have set myself up to get hammered when I dont respond to something. Oh well, hammer away

Now we have a love fest.

Nah, seriously - no need to apologize. There will be times comming up soon that I wont look at the threads for several days on end. The days are getting longer and the weather is turning so I will be outside more and I will miss lots of things.

Ok, maybe that was childish on my part. But this whole board is a discussion for people to observe, discuss, and learn. You were basically calling Mork and I liers. You are entitled to your opinion as we all are, but you come off very abbressive. I'm sure you know more about diesels than me. I am pretty new to all this. But that doesn't mean you can't be mistaken. It also doesn't mean that I don't know how my truck reacts to the mods I have.

Anyway, water under the bridge. Let's move forward.

Here is my impression about Diablo's products. I just got my stacking bundle in yesterday!

I only had time to download the predator, so throwing all my common sense out the window I downloaded the extreme tune to my truck! HOLY SMOKESCREEN BATMAN!

First I noticed the truck idled different and had a little more rattle. If you lug this thing at all even slightly you have a nice puff of coal. Intentionally, and you covered the intersection. OK well it was only my neighborhood intersection. But it was cool! My neighborhood borders an industrial area so I went play in there! At 60 in 6th I can push the pedal 1/2 way down, at first i thought there was a problem in the 2k rpm range but it was just my clutch slipping. It will light the tires up At 60 in 6th.

The programmer by itself is awesome. I don;t know if I even need to put the PUCk on the thing!

Didn't you order in the first part of January? I'm glad you are so impressed with it. Let us know how it runs when you get a clutch and put the puck on. What temps. were you seeing? How much boost? So on so on so on........

I forgot to have it shipped to the office!

ANYWAYS, Boost and EGT#'s! I din't have a clue! I am to busy looking at the smoke out of the rearview mirrors!

well i finally got everything working. between the smarty/PPE issues ive had and then the speed eliminator/ lock up issues i dont know whats worse!!!

anyway i installed the diablo and first i installed it on the performance setting
it was ok but felt kinda like a little better than stock. not alot of smoke and not much power.
so i then put it on extreem, what a difference it made low and mid are great, top end was still not where i wanted to be though, but better than anything else ive tryed, egts were good and rp stayed high, but i need more, like the others it feels like it tapers off alittle after 2800k and i could verifie this by looking at the boost, RP and egt. after 2800 the truck would get hotter, the rp would get instantly higher( less duration) and the boost would drop 5 or so psi( less fueling) so i thing i have it figured out other than that it was great.

custome tuning here i come!!!!!
the data logging section is a little confusing--so much there to look at, any one have a break down of what all the mumbo jumbo accually is or means? thanks

man i tell ya, diablo is first class in support and customer service.
i e-mailed them a question and within a day i got 3 three responces.
and i have my custome tune, no fussin or questioning just results.

i wonder what kind of results "other" companies would see if they treated ALL customers this way.

looks like i'll be doing some testing for them too..............
