isspro trans temp gauge can you lengthen the wires

i was wondering if you could lengthen the wires off of the transmission temperature sender so that the amplifier box will fit under the dash has anyone done this? thanks

Best if soldered and you use same size wire.... to avoid changing the resistance.
Minor lenghtening should not change anything.

ive got some 16 gauge diesel manor says no smaller than 18 gauge and anything bigger is ok so im gonna use 16 thanks for the help

big c where you located?

I didn't have to lengthen mine at all and my box is under the dash. Not sure why you would need to do such.

Same here. Wonder if Isspro made the wiring shorter!?!?!?!

well im mounting mine on the passenger side right below the vent next to the radio. it is short no doubt about that so i added some wire and i will install this weekend

I'm a dealer and asked isspro they said it was fine. I just try to use the same size wire and solder it . every one I install is done and no problems
