Isspro Fuel Pressure Gauge Issues
Isspro Fuel Pressure Gauge Issues
guys, i need some help deciding on which fuel pressure gauge to get,i ordered a set of Isspro ev2's consisting of pyro, trans. temp, and boost for now.i have read MANY posts on isspro's troubles with the fuel pressure gauge.i would be willing to switch to autometer for these [2] remaining gauges for the steering column mount maybe the Phantom 2's.Are all isspro fuel pressure gauges faulty. If i only went with the rail pressure gauge would i be missing vital info?? i am running smarty Jr. and airdog100
I have an ISSPRO EV2 fuel pressure gauge, have had it for a couple years, it works flawlessly. No snubber either. I also have many other ISSPRO gauges (RP, 2 boost gauges, EGT, exh pressure, tranny temp, 2 diff temp, oil press/temp) none of them have had any problems either.
The people at ISSPRO are GREAT people, even if you had some kind of problem they take care of you immediately. One of my gauges was missing a part, they sent it out the same day I called them.
You can have trouble with anything, there are a few posts here of people that have had problems, but frankly, thousands of their gauges are out being used every day.

I have the same gauges. I only have the lift pump pressure, not rail. The only problem I have ever had with any of my guages is for the life of me I cannot get the pressure isolator to seal up. Once a year since new I have to open the top fitting and refill with washer fluid. Then clean, re-tape and install the fittings. Out of nowhere the gauge will stop reading pressure. Stop and top it off, it comes right back.
I have Isspro gauges, my FP gauge did not work well until I bypassed the isolator and ran fuel straight into the cab. No problems after that. X2 with the awesome customer service.
You know, the EV2 FP gauge uses an electronic sensor. I had the Classic ISSPRO mechanical gauge and was always having to screw with the antifreeze in the line going to the cab. Even barometric pressure can cause the mechanical gauge to malfunction or read incorrectly.
