i am installing an isspro pyro on an 2004.5 quad cab 4x4.i have 2 quetions:first is what color wire to tap off of the headlight switch for the gauge lights .
second the instructions say to connect the red wire off of the the signal amplifier box to the ignition.i dont understand where to do this.

I am not sure if any wiring changes were made to the 04.5, if it the same the wire you should connect to is orange with black stripe. I powered my gauge light s from one of the spare fuse blocks found in the fuse box under the hood. Box is located on drivers side in front of battery.

 

how do you hook in to one of the spare fuse blocks?are they already hot?

 

The fuse blocks are hot. I just placed a 5 amp fuse in the block. My gauges came with a small brass fitting that fit over the leg of the fuse and pushed it in the block. I used a spayed connector to connect the wire to the brass fitting.
