Hey guys and gals, I need some help, I just installed the AFE intake on my truck and now the hood is uneven, I mean the space between the hood and the fender is bigger on the passenger side (were the AFE is installed) than on the driver side.

Is this normal? I'm really concerned about this, is like the hood is hitting the afe intake.
I installed and recheck everything as per AFE instructions and even removed the rubber bushings that are below the stock air box, please help.

Make sure you dont have the filter sitting to forward in the box, this will tend to force the top of the box upward. Past that I had no problems.

CowboyDave, I checked the filter and lowered a little now is better.

Pull U 2, I did remove the rubber grommets under the stock box.
