Any one hooked up an INLINE-5 with #3163642 (3pin Weatherpac) to your truck? Did it work? Could you read RP,etc, & log data? I haven't tried. I don't have the weatherpac, I just have the deutsch 3 pin in my kit.

 

Been there, tried that. Your Cummins ECM has Dodge software in it. I could not get it to work in my 05. I now use my Modis to scan/log data when I am curious. I have been able to use Insite on some 24V Dodge Cummins though.

 

Thats what I thought. I was hoping I could get something out of it, but I guess Dodge doesn't even use J1939 do they. Maybe I'll talk to my tech @ the dealer,& see if he knows what protocol dodge uses. Thanks.

 

I know the 3rd gens are not supposed to communicate with INSITE but why does INSITE have an OBD2 option when you bring the main page up. If I remember correctly it is about 2/3rd's down on the left. Same column as fault codes, etc.
