Injector question diablo power puck?

Looking for some advice, I have a 06 and at 29,000 my injectors went. Dealer replaced all 6. dealer is really cool and turned there head seeing the key count erased, I was using the diablo predotor/puck stack on the economy tune. I did not try to hide anything from the dealer and they told me that there is way to much pressure fuel pressue being thrown at those injectors.

After that i did not want to mess with the predator out of respecting the dealer,( just in case round 2 came) and I have been using just power puck, I thought things were good however my injectors are getting loud( lots of ticking going going on at 41000 miles. Should i be concerned, should i get rid of this power puck.

Thanks for any info!!

i was under the impression that the PUCK is what was throwing all the fuel pressure at the injectors. I blew out all mine but had 114,000 on them. replaced them with the Flux 1's and am debating actually throwing the puck back on. maybe make sure that your valves are adjusted correctly, and that you are using additives. if they are brand new, I wouldnt think they could be that bad already just off the puck. but you might want to take it off for now and see if the ticking goes away.

its probably the best bet. with these injectors, you look at them wrong and they implode.

mine was well out of warranty, but I am glad, because don m. was the best thing these injectors could get.

I thought the Puck was timing and duration only. How is driveability with the F1's and do they help mpg any? Craig

before I got them in, my truck wouldnt start if it wasnt plugged in, and the temps were below 35...just before I replaced the injectors, the truck was having issues starting at all...so to go from that to my truck starting on the third crank is priceless in itself. but with the predator on there, the truck is crazy fast. fuel mileage right now is the same from what I can tell, we will see what happens when the summer fuel comes back.

this is what I pulled from the predator website on the puck:

The Power Puck remaps the fuel delivery of the diesel injection pump and advances the injection-timing curve.

The PowerPuck software works on changing the injection quantities an advancing the ignition curve, it will not alter the load pressure directly. The load pressure is increased due to the increase in fuel volume delivery.

it seems like that means it increases fuel pressure, and also the puck is plugged right into the rail. but I could be totally confused on that one. either way, I am pretty confident that my predator and puck are not gonna do any damage now that the F1's are in.
