Got it today and took a few pics. Very high quality and big!. It's gotta flow better than the stock filter. I can't wait to hear it.

What is the size of the main tube and the filter housing cannister that attaches to the tube? ID preferred.......

 

the tube that mounts to the factory intake muffler or torque tube(if you buy it) should be 5.5"....that's what the factory size is.

 

OD is 5-1/2", ID is 5"

 

Looks nice, and it's about the same price as an AFE Stage II, if not a bit less here at my local Amsoil dealer.

I just am not thrilled about the intake air coming from just the hole in the fender. It would be nice if it has a provision like to pull cool air in from the front of the truck...

 

Dig it.. I am saving my pennies for one!

Installed it yesterday.

First driving impressions...

Slightly more whistle than with the modded stock box and missing resonators in the intake tube. I love the sound. Any more whistle and it would be too much IMHO. The HTT SS turbo likes the added airflow. I made the mistake of changing power levels on the TST so a back to back comparison is lost. I need a day or two driving with it. Dropped it back to the original setting of 7/4. On hard throttle it sure feels stronger and smoother.

Uh Oh.... We are running the same manufacturer parts now that ricers do? Never thought I'd see it.....Looks good though.
